Colour of The Trap’ is het eerste soloalbum van de uit Liverpool afkomstige zanger/frontman
van The Rascals en Last Shadow Puppets, Miles Kane. Een puur Britpop album, of zoals Kane
het zelf noemt, ‘fuzz]rock]raw, beat]pop.’ Voor dit album heeft Kane samengewerkt met een
aantal bekenden waaronder Noel Gallagher (harmonies/vocals op ‘My Fantasy’), Alec Turner
(waarmee hij samen schreef aan de tracks ‘Better Left Invisible’ en ‘Telepathy), producers
Dan Carey (Franz Ferdinand) en Dan The Automator (Gorillaz en Kasabian).
