The record`s got an amazingly sharp quintet lineup that features Green, Bailey, Frank Haynes on tenor, Billy Gardner on piano, and Ben Tucker on bass. Playing is stellar throughout -- with the same feel as Green`s classic Blue Note sides, and actually sounds a lot like the Horace Parlan LPs featuring him and Booker Ervin.
